Products CLARK'S

The story of Clarks begins in a village in the South West of England in 1825, in the county of Somerset with Cyrus Clark, a Quaker running a wool cutting and tanning business. It was not until three years later that the company started making shoes thanks to James Clark, Cyrus' brother who had the idea of making slippers using scraps of sheepskin. The success was immediate, so much so that the Clarkes sold up to 1000 pairs per month during the year 1842. The model was named "Brown Petersburg"
